Chalino Sanchez is the reason why we have arists like Jorge Gamboa, El Apomeno, Valentin Elizalde, Leonel "El Ranchero", Saul Viera and the rest of the chalino style singers.
What makes or should I say made Chalino such a different artist was his original style of singing, his voice and the story behind the lyrics. To this day, I have never heard anyone who will ever make me feel what Chalino did when I listened to his music. Maybe it's the lyrics, the music, or the voice, but, what I do know is that before him, there was no 'Narco-Corrido' or any fancy trash that anyone is singing.
